Liability of Author

Journal of Business Paradigms will take in consideration for publishing just if manuscripts that meet following criteria:

1. Clear authorship. Each Author will have to sign Copyright Statement in which is stated originality of the work (section I). Author must properly cite all papers and works verbatim from other sources or publications that have been influential on submitted manuscript. Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution of manuscript. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research, they should be acknowledged or listed as contributors. The corresponding Author is obligated and carry all liability of correctly stating all appropriate co-authors and all appropriate contributors. Additionally, the corresponding Author is obligated to inform and to communicate with all co-authors the last version of the paper that is submitted for review/publication
2. First time published and plagiarism (self-plagiarism). Each Author will have to sign Copyright Statement (section II) in which is stated that the manuscript is not previously published or part of manuscript. As well as that, there is no plagiarism and self-plagiarism in the work. The Editorial Board for finding similarities to other published articles uses Turnitin software.
3. Submission to one journal at a time. The manuscript should be submitted only to Journal of Business Paradigms. Each Author will have to sign Copyright Statement in which is stated (section III), that manuscript is not under consideration for publication elsewhere in any form (article, or part of a monograph, or chapter of a book).
4. Transparency and Warranties. Each Author will have to sign Copyright Statement (section IV) in which is stated that manuscript do not contains nothing that is abusive, defamatory, fraudulent, or illegal, also it is stated that the manuscript does not incorporate any third-party confidential information, proprietary right. In addition, any form of publication funding of the manuscript by the third party Author must state in submitting process. In that case, the Editorial Board will see if there is any kind of possible relationship that could be interpret as influence on the findings or could be interpreted as any kind of conflict of interest.
5. Data and content. Each Author will have to sign Copyright Statement (section V) in which Author will agrees with publication of the data or all other content in the manuscript. Before publication, Author should clear permission to use any content that has been created by third party. Additionally, Author is asked to provide the raw data in connection with a manuscript for Editorial review, and should be prepared to provide public access, and should in any event be prepared to keep such data for a reasonable time after publication.

Liability of Editors

1. Ambassador of the Journal. Editor should promote the Journal as good opportunity for publishing among colleagues and academic community.
2. Rejection/acceptance decision. Editor of the Journal is responsible for rejection/acceptance decisions. Rejection/acceptance decision must be made on manuscript’s importance, originality and clarity and should be in accordance with Publication ethics and publication malpractice standards of the Journal. The Editor is highly encouraged to consult with Reviewers and Editorial Board in making decision.
3. Peer review. Editor suggests and invite Reviewers for peer review process.
4. Privacy and conflict of interest. Editor and editorial members are not allowed to reveal any kind of information on manuscript and/or connected data to third party, unless it is regulated with policies and procedures of the Journal (Peer Review Process, Reviewer Guidelines, Publication ethics and publication malpractice standard). Editor is obligated to report to the Editorial Board any kind of conflict of interest. Data and unpublished materials of the manuscripts is strictly forbidden to be used in editor’s research without express consent of the author.

Liability of Reviewers

1. Peer review. Reviewer recommends to the Editor rejection/acceptance decision. Reviewer assists Author, thought Editor, to improve manuscript. Main liabilities of Reviewer are to: a) pinpoint relevant manuscripts that has not been cited by the Author, b) test methodology and results, c) provide recommendation for improvement of manuscript and d) to warn Editor for any case of plagiarism.
2. Privacy and conflict of interest. Reviewer is not allowed to reveal any kind of information on manuscript and/or raw data to anyone. Manuscript and/or raw data must be treated as confidential materials i.e. reviewer is not allowed to distribute it among other experts without authorisation of the Editor. Reviewer is obligated to report to the Editor any kind of conflict of interest (Reviewer Guidelines). All information, data and unpublished materials of the manuscripts is strictly forbidden to be used by reviewer for own prosperity of any kind (e.g. research, distributing data, taking credit etc.).   
3. Objectivity and Timeliness.  Reviewer remarks, recommendations and views should be stated clearly and with supporting arguments. Personal criticism towards Author is strictly forbidden. Taking into account the quality of review it should be deliver as soon as possible, inside the default time.
4. Authorship and Plagiarism. In case of even slight suspicion on plagiarism Reviewer is obligate to warn Editor.
